Sunday update

Lately I've been thinking about what I like and dislike about other blogs I read. I really like blogs that are written almost like a bullet point presentation so,  I'm going to try something similar.
Today will be my first Sunday update.

My current UFO is Autumn Grapevine by Sheila Hudson.

My current stitch from stash is Make It Mini - Love Apple and this is where I'm at with it.

Looking forward to choosing some card patterns for my mum and also for DH's mum to celebrate mother's day on 11th May.

Almost there

Here's where I'm at with the Christmas tree, I've still got the back stitch and a few squares to fill in but it should be finished tonight.

I've been frogging

Yes, the dreaded frog made an appearance and I had to unpick part of my new project. I was not a happy little cross stitcher!!

It has all been re stitched now and is correct, the photo shows the beginnings of the new project, a Christmas tree which is part of my attempt to have all my Christmas cards stitched throughout the year.

I've also picked up a new ufo to work on which is a companion to my summer roses but I haven't had time to take any photos yet, I will try to do this over the weekend.

Christmas in April?

So my card making seems to be on track re birthdays in 2014, but then I got to thinking about Christmas, wouldn't it be nice to have all my cards ready to go on time instead of madly rushing in December to get them finished before Christmas day arrives?
So I made a start, a small one but a start non the less, I'm hoping to complete at least one Christmas card per month, below covers January and February, now to decide which patterns to choose for March and April.

Summer roses

My summer roses are complete, (yay, cross that project off the ufo list) it just needs a good wash and iron, then off to the framers.
I've also completed 2 little reindeers pictures that just need to be made up into cards, they weren't on the ufo list but I needed something small to take with me whilst DH and I were on holiday, and it's never too early to start preparing for Christmas....Right?
